HOMEMADE VANILLA CHAI LATTE
I love sipping on a Chai Latte. They are so good, and what makes them even better is if they are made with soy milk instead of regular whole milk or two percent milk. I found myself going to my local coffee shop at least once a day to get me a cup of this yummy deliciousness. I was spending almost $4 out of pocket for the smallest cup they had. I finally decided to look at my local grocery store to see if I could purchase the Chai myself, and I could. So for $10 I was able to purchase all of the supplies I needed to make me 15-20 cups of Homemade Chai Latte. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of vanilla soy milk
- 3-4 tbsp of powdered Chai Latte mix
- 1 tbsp honey
Directions:
- Heat your soy milk for two minutes.
- Add your powdered chai mix and honey and stir until it’s dissolved.
- Reheat for 30 seconds and enjoy!
I’m telling you, it is just as good as the kind you buy at StarBucks.

I love delicious ways to save money!
ya no i have never tried a chai latte i would not even know what chai would taste like lol i always get a vanallia latte when i go somewhere and i hate soy anything so i may have to make this but tweak it just a little lol
Sounds yum! I wonder how many WW points it would be.
What a great way to save money! Your babies are TOO cute for words. OH MY GOSH! I want to squeeze Zion to pieces.
Soy and chai. No better combo! I’m going to give it a try and save me some change!
Oooo… I make myself a latte similarly although I do an iced latte, so I heat the water, add the powder, pour over ice and then milk atop it. SOY milk though… I love that idea. And since Little Miss is dairy free, we have plenty of it on hand. I never thought of using honey either…. that sounds like a great addition, Thanks!
How fun to have this recipe. Thanks for sharing. Also, I love your site. I am glad you joined us at Tempt My Tummy Tuesday. I hope you come back.
If you want to save even more money, try this-
If you are putting the chai into the soy you can use a regular chai teabag (celestial seasonings makes a good one, they also make an awesome coconut thai chai). Heat up the milk and let the tea bag steep till desired strength. Add enough sweetener for your liking (I think chai needs to be on the sweeter side personally). If it isn’t creamy enough for you then add some non-dairy creamer to it. It will cost a lot less then the chai mix!
I am so excited to try this! Thanks!!
