I AM LOVING WALGREENS THIS WEEK

ThingsILoveThursdayWalgreens is becoming one of my favorite places to shop this year. I made a trip to Walgreens on Tuesday and I was so shocked at even myself. This has been the best savings trip that I have ever had. Seriously. I am all about saving my family some money. But wen I can bless another family with the purchases I made, that is even better. I NEVER keep everything I buy for just myself. I am always giving things away. There’s a running joke in my family when they come over my house. They always ask me “Can I go shopping in your closet?” Of course it’s no problem. And what I can’t use I always donate it to a local organization. (But hopefully soon I will be able to donate it to my own organization. More details on that at a later date.)

I haven’t done a picture of my shopping trip in a long time. And this picture is not the best picture either. I took this with the camera off of my cell phone but you can still see the products.

  1. Can you tell us where you got the coupons for the Glade products?

  2. Wowee! That’s fantastic. I think if I had savings like that I’d be calling everyone I knew and telling them! lol Great job!

  3. wow, that is amazing. I need to learn your tricks!

  4. Wow girl! That is amazing! You are a money saving machine! I can’t wait to hear about your new organization!

  5. Dear Deidra,

You can get the BOGO free Glade coupons here. The Walgreen Easy Saver catalog has the $4 off coupons. With the two coupons, you have free products.

  6. Dear Joan,

My goal is to have a non profit started by years end. I am working on that right now and I have a wonderful lady who’s willing to guide me through that.

    Take care,
    Shynea

  7. i had a friend over who mentioned stopping by the drug store for shampoo on her way home

“are you picky about your brand”

“no” so i lead her to my “CVS closet”. :)

  8. Wow you really saved home girl!

  9. Dear Brooke,

That is hilarious. I do the same thing. Whenever anyone mentions they need to pick something up at the store, and I know I have a surplus of it, I always tell them to come right on over.

    Take care,
    Shynea

  10. I was wondering why you didn’t get a 3rd pack of diapers or some $6 wipes to get the $10 RR. You still would’ve come out even or ahead. Just curious…

  11. Dear Mommy Managing,

I didn’t get a third pack of diapers or wipes because the Walgreens store I went to was literally wiped out. There were also three other people in the aisle who were trying to buy diapers as well. I didn’t think it would be right if I took the last of the last. I am all about sharing in the savings, so I passed on a few extra coupons that I had to the other mothers in the aisle and counted it as a good deserved lost. I’ll never clear an entire aisle out when I see someone else is trying to work the same deal. For all of the stuff that I got, I think I did pretty good.

    Take care,
    Shynea
