I AM LOVING THE BEACH

Beach - 01Since the summer is here, my family is spending more and more time outside. I believe it is important for children to get outside everyday and get some type exercise. One of our favorite things to do on the weekend is go to the beach or the park. It allows us to spend some time together as a family and it allows them to have fun splashing in the water and playing in the sand.

This week I am “loving the beach.” I recently moved to Florida in February and we are literally 30 minutes away from the beach. My first time playing in the sand and the sun was in 2007 and I fell in love with it instantly. The waves and the sand are absolutely beautiful, and when the sun sets it is even better.

I love watching my children enjoy the sand and the sun just as much as I do. Although they don’t appreciate the beauty of the scenery right now, they do appreciate the quality time that we spend together at the beach as a family. I feel it is so important to have that quality time as a family.

It is mesmerizing to me how it appears that the sky meets the ocean. The illusion of it is absolutely beautiful and I am so glad that I am able to share this experience with my children every time we go to the beach. These are the kinds of memories that will last a lifetime.

    Oh we love the beach and Florida too. I do not live there anymore but we are heading down to visit next week and I cannot wait to hit the beach!!

    I am much more of a pool person cause I hate cleaning out sand, but every once and a while it is nice to hit the beach.

    Hehe try living here your entire life and the novelty will wear off lol. It’s alright, sometimes but the humidity drives me nuts :)

    I am jealous! Everyone’s going to the beach! Hopefully we’ll get to go to the pool in the next week or so and I’ll have some refreshing blog content, lol.
