MEET THE NEW EDITORS OF PPD.COM

I am so excited to announce that Penny Pinching Diva is expanding. The readership here has more then tripled in the last six months and I am beyond excited about that. Although I try to stay on top of posting all of the best deals for you, my real articles have been few and far between. Even though I know that a lot of my visitors come here for the tips and frugal postings that I make on a daily basis, a lot of you come here for the articles and personal postings as well. I want to bring that back.

I have brought on two fabulous women to help me bring the content that you all have been asking for. I could not do their introductions justice, so I am going to let them introduce themselves.

I want you to warmly welcome the two newest, as well as the first, editors of Penny Pinching Diva Jennifer and Kathleen. Jennifer will be writing articles giving tips on ways to market yourself, blog or your product with little to no cost to you. She will also be writing articles to reach out to the Latino community by focusing on the Latina moms. Kathleen will be giving us a behind-the-scenes look at her wild and crazy life as the mom of five kids. Join in as she tackles a plethora of random topics.

Hola – Hello and welcome to my first post for the fabuloso – fabulous Penny Pinching Diva!My name is Jennifer and I am a Latina mamí – mommy of an adorable 7-month-old little peanut, Shaun (a.k.a Shaunsito). I was born and raised in New York but currently reside with my son and wonderful husband, also named Shaun, in the great state of Georgia.

I work full-time, outside the home and also have a “side hustle” as a Public Relations, Marketing, and Social Media consultant.

Of course my true passion has always been writing. Up until a few months ago it was only through a personal blog. However, since the birth of my hijo – son I have created a public blog Mami 2 Mommy to share my experiences as a first time mamí and also be able to share the things that I have learned regarding public relations and marketing on a small budget. Whether you are trying to market yourself, a blog, product, whatever the case may be there are many ways to do it at little or no cost to you.

So, let’s work juntos – together, have some fun, and build a strong comunidad – community where we can all gain something.

My name is Kathleen “Kat” Robertson. I was born and raised in south Mississippi. I now reside in north central Louisiana with my family. My passions are ministry, family, writing, and singing. I am the founder of StepInFaith Ministry and the owner of eDesign-Pro Company. I have an accounting degree but left the workforce to work at home as I pursue my own personal goals and spend more time with my family.

I am thrilled and honored to be chosen as a contributor for Penny Pinching Diva as it expands its areas of interest and I look forward to sharing my moments of reflection, inspiration, and – yes – even my half-baked attempts as preserving my parental sanity! In the months to come, look right here for my funny mommy moments, my 3:00am author-in-a-sleep-deprived-state mornings, my warmest wife-times, and perhaps even my views on topics relating to world events.I am very passionate about pretty much everything. If I believe it, I FIRMLY believe it and if I’m against it, I am probably radically opposed!

I have been journaling my entire life and have thoroughly enjoyed chronicling my “married mommy” life through my blog, For the Love of Chaos. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 8 years. We have the craziest existence of anyone I’ve ever known. With five kids (four girls – ages 1, 3, 6, and 9 – and one boy – age 7), a zillion small business ventures, a ministry, twenty thousand short-and-long term goals, a dog, and virtually NO alone time, well… life tends to run away from us all by itself. We spend most of our time just trying to catch up.
