WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS…
you pucker up and hold on for the ride.
This week I have been trying to turn my handful of lemons into lemonade. Both of my computers flat lined and died on me.
My desktop crashed. I got the modem to work but my flat screen is on the fritz. Because my family is on a budget I have been trying to Free Cycle a monitor. The only thing being offered are broke monitors that need repairing.
“Sorry free cycle, I already have one of those. K? Thanks.”
Not only did my desktop die, but so did my mini laptop. I have an Acer Inspire One, and although I have loved it up until now, their customer service is horrible. To me, customer service is everything. If I would have known ahead of time that their’s was so awful I would have went with another company and brand.
Needless to say I am down two computers. That is why there has been a lack in deal postings on the website. Please bear with me as I fix this situation.
Next week I will introduce the two contributing writers to Penny Pinching Diva, unveil the Penny Pinching Forums and introduce you to the new Diva Rewards program I have been working on.

Im sorry about all that drama! I hope you can get it fixed within the time you want. You are determined, so i’m sure it will all work out.
I totally understand the “I am on a budget” thing. My husband and I have 4 children, ages 16, 13, 4 and 9 months. I go through 3 gallons of milk every week. And did I mention our fridge broke last week? The $200 grocery shop went in the trash, plus $250 to fix the fridge, PLUS extra money spent to re-buy the groceries. Geesh!

budget?! I so understand.. with kids and specialy now with the uncertainty of our family’s finance it’s a word I am getting real familiar with real fast.

I so feel you on the lemonade! My husband and I have been drinking it by the gallons around here lately. Instead of computers it’s been vehicles!!!
