I’M THE MEDIA CORRESPONDENT FOR BLOGALICIOUS WEEKEND: LOOKING FOR SPONSORS

I have been holding this news in for about a week, but I am so happy to announce that I am the official Media Correspondent for the Blogalicious 2009 Conference in Atlanta. I am really excited about this because I will be hosting LIVE from the purple carpet for the Blogalicious Beat. You will be able to catch me on MomTV giving up up-to-the-minute announcements, commentary and interviews. I am also speaking on their panel Upgrade You: Taking Your Blog to the Next Level. This is going to be a great experience for me.

I can’t explain to you what the Blogalicious 2009 Conference is in my own words. I wouldn’t do it justice. So let me quote this for you straight from the website:

You’ve been asking for it and now it’s here! In its inaugural year, BLOGALICIOUS 2009 will provide women bloggers of color an amazing opportunity to come together to celebrate their diversity and their love for blogging.

For three days, black, Latina, Caribbean, Asian-Pacific, and Native-American bloggers, among other nationalities, will enjoy a weekend of entertaining discussions and extraordinary events, all experienced in the company of exceptional women.

I’M LOOKING FOR SPONSORS!

This event is going to entail of weekend of fun and networking and I am looking for sponsors who would love for me to represent their company, and their brand, at this conference. This is going to be an excellent way for me to network with other mom bloggers and women of color in business. The attendance to this conference is going to be full of educated and beautiful women of color and I would love nothing more then to brag about you while I am there.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:

I’m searching for businesses who would like to sponsor me monetarily during this conference. I am also looking for business who would like to offer their products for me to take, wear, hand out and/or show during the conference.

The types of items I am looking for are:

• Clothing: casual, dressy and sporty.
• Two cocktail dresses and a black dress to wear on the purple carpet.
• Shoes: casual, dressy and sporty.
• Jewelry: casual and dressy.
• Bags: a purse, a clutch, a handbag, a bookbag and a big carry all.
• Makeup: I am looking for an evening look, a casual look and an everyday look.
• Items with your company logo on it for me to pass out at the conference.
• Electronics: a DV camera that will allow me to record highlights from the conference and interviews with the attendees.
• Samples from your company showcasing your product.
• Coupons or gift certificates to your company to give away.
