MY DREAM HOME MAY LOOK FAMILIAR TO YOU…

B5QUESTION: What does your dream home look like? Is it a condo in new york? A town home in Boston? A sprawling mansion in Connecticut?

I like this question because I have put a lot of thought into what I would like my dream home to look like. I think all women, at one point in time, have been unhappy with the place they are living in. I know that with my large family we have lived in some small, tight places. So when I saw that this house was for sale I was ecstatic.

My Dream House

This house may look familiar to my reality tv junkies. This is the old house of Jon & Kate Plus 8. I LOVE this house and would absolutely turn it into a home. (Hey TLC. If you want another big family to move into this house and show you how a “lived” in house actually looks, give me a call.)

But seriously. This house would be perfect for my family. Not only does it have five bedrooms and two and a half baths, but it comes with a finished basement. The kitchen is also perfect as well, as it has enough counter and cabinet space for me to properly store all of my stockpile. It is located in a state that I have always wanted to live in, and the backyard is big enough for all four of my boys to run around and play in. Plus, the fiance is in love with the garage and the driveway. (It has enough room for him to put his two old school cars.)

I find absolutely nothing wrong with this house and if I could I would claim it as my own. (Plus, if Jon & Kate Plus 8 can have their cutesy kids on tv, my family would so thrive at our own reality show. We’re hilarious.)

I am participating in MomDot’s ever creative Blogger Bingo this week in honor of the PR Blackout. This week you will get lots of personal posts from me so that all of you will get the chance to get to know me better. I hope that you will participate in the conversation as well by answering these questions for yourself in the comments.

  1. It is a nice home and I agree it is a great size – although I only have 1 son so don’t really NEED 5 bedrooms. Although I’m sure that I could find a use for every single one of them :) I would be afraid that you would have too many people driving by, taking pictures, etc because of who used to live there. And I definitely wouldn’t want to be on a reality show. Look what it did to the Gosselins! Although part of me suspects they wouldn’t have made it anyway – John just wouldn’t be hanging out with the Lohans and that money grubbing 20 something LOL

  2. I agree with you it is a great home…I have been fortunate enough to have taken advantage of the Real estate boom in 2003 and own a great home also. I am sure you will too! Don’t give up on your dream.

  3. Shynea,

You want this house, then ask for it!! “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

    Be Blessed.
