MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE…

QUESTION: Tell us about your dream vacation!

This is an interesting question because I never actually took the time to think about where my dream vacation would actually take place. Three years ago, I would have said on the beach. But because the beach is practically a 20 minute drive away, I can go there anytime I want now.

I would have to say that I would love to go back overseas and visit Italy as an adult. My father was in the military and we were stationed in Italy for almost three years. From what I can remember, it was a VERY beautiful country. I was young then, but at the age of four I remember distinctly riding in a gondola with my parents. I also remember that our apartment had these beautiful marble floors and we had this balcony that overlooked the city. It was awesome.

So my dream vacation would be to tour Italy, especially Venice, as an adult. To enjoy the sites and sounds and relish in the dishes. (Because I am a lover of food.) To take my family to another country and expose them to another culture.
