KelloggsCerealI just posted about the great new cereal coupons that Kellogg’s just released. Now I have a great deal where you can get free cereal at your local Target.

Currently Target has a sale where you buy 3 boxes of cereal at $2.66 and get the 4th box free. (The cereals in this deal include Raisin Bran Crunch, Special K Red Berries, Frosted Flakes and a few others.)

  • Purchase 4 Boxes of Kellogg’s cereal.
  • Total $7.98. (This is minus the free box of cereal.)
  • Use 4 of $1.00 off coupons from here.
  • Combine it with 4 of the $1.00 off Target coupons from here.
  • After sale AND all 8 coupons you get 4 boxes of cereal for free!

    I went last night.. the only thing is they would only take 3 of their coupons as the computer said can’t take on free item.. and then they took off one of the 1.50 coupons.. so i got 4 boxes for 3.81 including tax..

    Yum! I go through breakfast cereals real quickly in my house! Especially frosted flakes. You can never have too many boxes! And if you do, you can make desserts out of them:

    TIGER BITES – Microwave

    1 (10 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. peanut butter
    7 1/2 c. or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Frosted Flakes cereal

    In a 4 quart microwave bowl melt marshmallows and butter on high 3 minutes, stirring after 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Add Frosted Flakes cereal, stirring until well coated.
    Using a butter spatula or waxed paper. Press mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cut into 1 1/2 x 2 inch bars. Yield 32 bars. Note: Use fresh marshmallow for best results.

    There are other recipes out there (brownies, toppings for coffee cake…) just do a search on google!
