OH HOW HIS FUNNY FACES MAKE ME SMILE
It has been a hectic few weeks in the diva household. We have geared ourselves up, once again, to move. This time the move is a more permanent one though. (We are going to buy the house that we are moving into this time.) I’m really excited about it. We go to sign the paperwork this Tuesday and then we will be on our way to homeownership.
With that comes some very unwanted stress. My youngest son demonstrates this stress the best:

His first face demonstrates how I have been looking for the past few weeks knowing that I have to repack my entire house once again. I am the world’s worst procrastinator. I wait until the last minute to do everything. It is such an awful habit of mine, and even though I know this, I still procrastinate. (I procrastinated on writing this post.)
So once again I have waited to the last minute to pack up my house. I have two days to do it so my husband can move. Why just two days? Because I will be spending Thanksgiving in Alabama with my family and that is when my husband will be moving our things.
So I will be up the next two days, until the crack of dawn, packing things, labeling things and whining about how rushed I feel. (When I know that it’s no one’s fault but my own. MeĀ and my procrastinating self.)

Cute pics. Congrats on the new home. Moving sucks! Hang in there! Happy Thanksgiving!
Time to throw away what u don’t need as your packing, it’s a good way to cut down on packing unwanted items. Also, do a pile for the goodwill for clothes and items that your not wearing or using. It will be worth it in the end
LOL…I feel you girl…i am a procrastinator as well…i have been working on buying a home as well in the future and dread the day that i have to pack…..i will probably wait until the last few days as well. Congratulations on your success in homeownership!
Congratulations on buyin you a home….. Hope you have a happy thanksgiving, be safe traveling and your lilltle man’s face looks like HE is TRIRED and STRESSED !!! LOL! TOO CUTE.
Congrats on being a homeowner! I am happy for you!
Use different colored labels for each room/person. This will allow all same color boxes to be in the appropriate room – excellent for unpacking. And just like the one other poster said: get rid of items that you know you won’t need/use/etc. No need in wasting time packing, moving and unpacking items that you have no use for.
Definately start chucking what you really don’t need to take, and like someone else mentioned, label your boxes so that when you guys get there you don’t have to look through them to figure out where they go. Your husband can just drop them wherever they’re supposed to be. Congratulations!
