LET M&M PRODUCTS HELP MAKE YOUR HAIR SOFN’FREE – GIVEAWAY {closed}

Hair is an important component of our lives. Yes that’s right, it is.  Not only is our hair able to show our unique style as individuals but it also allows us to feel good.  I think everyone has a goal when it comes to hair, for it to be soft, shiny and well maintained.  Sometimes that is hard if you don’t find a line of products that work well with your hair type.

Sof'n FreeWhen an opportunity arose for me to review a hair care product line, I was ecstatic to try it out. This line, Sof’n Free, is for girls.  I have a daughter that has curly hair and we struggle to maintain softness, shine and moisture.  We have tried several different brands along the way and so we were more than willing to give this a go!

From the starting point, Jada’s hair was dried out, frizzy and was in need of repair.

I received a large package in the mail from the M&M Products Company and I was surprised at all the products that they sent me! Not only did they send me the products, but they were kind enough to send me reading material on the company and products that they offer.  The products “are made from a combination of natural ingredients and they promote cellular growth and speeds healing from the damage from chemical relaxers and from everyday styling.”  I really liked this fact.  Who doesn’t want to use a product made from natural ingredients.  They are just better for your hair.

The products that they sent were:

Sof'n Free Review 03

  • GroHealthy Shea Buttter Damage Repair Treatment
  • GroHealthy Thick and Healthy Olive Oil Cream
  • GroHealthy Growth Oil with Olive Oil and Soybean Oil
  • GroHealthy Olive Oil Growth Lotion
  • GroHealthy Temple and Nape Gro with Almond Butter
  • Sofn’ Free n’Pretty Olive and Sunflower Oil Edge Tamer
  • Sofn’ Free n’Pretty Olive and Sunflower Oil Moisturizing Lotion
  • Sofn’ Free n’Pretty Olive and Sunflower Oil Hair and Scalp Nourisher

Starting out, my daughter Jada was really excited to see the results. I had to let her know that this was something that could take some time to really see but we were very pleasantly surprised.  We started out using the Shea Butter Damage Repair Treatment thinking that it would be a perfect start to try to help repair the breakage and moisturize her hair and scalp.  This was a treat for her, she thought she was getting a head massage!

Next, we used the Thick and Healthy Olive Oil Cream. It really helped to make her hair stronger and and shinier.  Her curls tend to dry out and frizz out so the Damage Repair Treatment and Olive Oil Cream worked well together for a daily treatment to help get her hair to where we wanted it to be.

Another great product to use was the Olive Oil and Sunflower Oil Edge Tamer. It helped keep those flyaways tame and in control.  When Jada wears her hair up, it always starts to come out at the edges and this really kept it in place.

The GroHealthy Growth Oil is meant to promote growth and help with flaking, itching and dandruff. I did notice that this worked for Jada.  With using hair products, it is so common for the products to actually dry out the scalp after the moisture is gone and this didn’t.  I noticed a decrease in dandruff and her itching scalp.  I would highly recommend this product!

The GroHealthy Temple and Nape Gro with Almond Butter was another favorite for Jada. I had to massage this cream into her temples and nape every morning and night for the first six weeks then once every morning.  We saw a huge difference.  Her hair at her temples was always out of control and breaking.  This cream made a dramatic change in that area.  The hair stopped breaking and actually grew! Plus, it tingles so it was an extra special treat for Jada.

The Olive and Sunflower Oil Hair and Scalp Nourisher did just that. It helped to add moisture and shine to her hair which she really loved when wearing her hair down to school.

This is Jada’s hair before and after using the products. It is now full, shiny and manageable for her to do before school.

This is an interview that I did with my daughter about the hair products:

Me: What is one thing that you don’t like about your hair?

Jada: It’s hard to brush and style because it’s curly and frizzy. *Makes an ugly face*

Me: What words would you like to use to describe your hair?

Jada: Um….curly, soft, shiny, long, easy to fix.

Me: Your hair is already curly!

Jada: Oh yeah, haha!

Me:Let’s move on, would you say that they products that we have been using helped you get the results you were hoping for?

Jada: Yes, they helped! *smiles*

Me: Would you be willing to continue using these products to maintain the softness and shine your hair has now?

Jada: Sure!

Me: Are you happy with your hair now?

Jada: Yes, I am! *smiles again*

Me: What was your favorite part of doing this review for the Penny Pinching Diva site?

Jada: I really like the massages that you’ve been giving me on my head…laughs.  That and people at school telling me that my hair is really pretty…even boys were touching my hair! *she laughs and looks to see if her dad heard that comment!*

Me: Thank you for doing this interview with me and for doing the review.  I thought is was fun to try.

Jada: Me too, thanks Mom!

We have used several different moisturizers in the past and some were good and some were awful but one thing that the others didn’t have were the natural ingredients that these products have. I really enjoyed using these products on my daughter’s hair and I would continue to use them and some others that they offer.  I have looked in the local stores and I cannot find them anywhere so I was thrilled to see that I could find all their products online at M&M Products Company.  Their prices are inexpensive and within the price point that I am willing to pay.

Afterall, when my daughter came home from school smiling because several people told her how beautiful her hair was and that she should wear it down more often, there is no price I wouldn’t pay!  What a true compliment to this hair care product line!

I am so appreciative to M&M Product Company and to Shynea for this wonderful opportunity to try this line. I would highly recommend these products to anyone and will encourage those I know to try it out!

I have all natural short hair and love it. But here in the desert it gets dry. Anything that will hydrate my hair from root to end I will try. I have truly never heard of this product but would be interested in trying Sofn’free Growth Stimulating Complex & Daily Growth lotion.
