The show was so good! I thought I was listening to the View!
Dear K.O.,
Please don’t make my head any bigger than it already is.
I was SO nervous, but the show is SO much better when you have other women to bounce ideas off of.
BTW, how are you and your beautiful baby girl doing? I have to get the social network back busy. I miss my divas.
Take care,
Shynea
We’re doing okay. I miss talking to everyone too. But with the radio show, I feel somewhat reconnected
Dear K.O.,
Well I plan on connecting again on the social network. That is my project for next weekend. Updating it with a new layout and adding more discussion topics to the boards.
Take care,
Shynea
I would like to say that I thouroughly enjoyed myself and it was a pleasure co-hosting on “When The Diva Talks” with two great women!
I had to go and listen to the show after the fact, and I liked the way we sounded and the way the conversations just flowed one topic into another. I had a blast!
I did say Umm, a couple of times and I need to break that habit. Lol! It’s like when I am thinking of my next word or sentence Umm flies out my mouth. That was my only pet peeve about myself. I’m my hardest critic. Over all I think we were FABULOUS!
I’ve been promoting it non stop ever since!
Ok Ladies I was up until after 1AM getting my code right! It was well worth it to promote the amazing time I had yesterday. It was really the highlight of my day.
I listened to the show because I wanted to hear how it all came together. For first time I thought it went well and all our topics as Jen said flowed together.
Jen, you are funny because I critiqued myself the same way. I was so disappointed with myself because I kept using the infamous um filler but practice makes perfect(hint, hint to our host:) My little man helped to point this out to me although he gave me a fist bump with his stamp of approval.
Most of the time I feel very subconscious about self-promotion but the two of you gave me the confidence to throw that idea to the wind!
Thanks for a great Sunday afternoon!
Just listened to the show. Great topics! Great job ladies!!!!
Dear Jo,
I’m glad that you liked the show!
Take care,
Shynea
I loved the talk radio session that you guys did. I watch the teen pregnacy and 16 and pregnant with my daughter and I agree with you when you say that MTV needs to show those young mothers that don’t have the network and do have to get on food stamps and live in public housing if they really want young girls to see what it could be like.
I also hope that the man that went to prison gets a retrial and maybe Toyota has to answer for that awful accident.
I don;t think that school officials should be worried about match making but should be concerned with teaching and helping students to be able to pass their exit exams.
I think that reality TV sucks.
