When I saw this deal posting I nearly fell over in my seat. You can get 6 full sized products at Target this week for $.83 each after coupons and gift cards.

How?

Target has two very good gift card promotions running this week:

  • When you buy 3 Olay Total Effects Body Wash you will receive a $5.00 Target Gift Card.
  • When you buy 2 Gillette/Venus razors you will receive $5.00 Target Gift Card.

Deal scenario:

  • Buy 3 Olay Total Effects Body wash for $5.49 each.
  • Buy 3 Venus Embrace Razor for $6.99 each.
  • Use 3 coupons for a free Olay body wash when you buy a Venus Razor from P&G February 7th coupon insert.
  • Use 3 $2.00 off of 1 Venus razor coupons from the P&G February 7th coupon insert.
  • Pay: $14.98 out of pocket.
  • Receive TWO $5 Gift Cards (one from the Gillette/Venus deal and the other from Olay body wash deal.)

    I just wanted to first say thanks for all the tips you have given us. I really appreaciate the venus razor and olay soap tip. Well, today after being snowbound all week(Here in the DC, MD area) I had to get out. Anyway after all my coupons and sales I bought 100.00 dollars worth of hygiene and household items for $40.00 bucks at Target. Thanks A bunch

      Dear Teresa,

      I am SO glad to hear that this deal worked for you. I know that I may not post an extensive list of EVERY sale but I try to post as many GOOD money savers as I can. I know that things like razors and body wash are VERY expensive so I try to post as many of those as possible.

      $100 worth of stuff for $40! That is a whopping 60% savings. I LOVE it!

    I went to Target today with the exact items listed above with the exact coupons, and while checking out was told by the manager that the coupons state “one coupon per purchase”, so he told me I could only buy one razor with one coupon per transaction.
    I tried to nicely explain that it was one coupon per item, but he insisted and then proceeded to try to ring it up, and something beeped, then he said the system wasn’t accepting the coupons.

    Has anyone else experienced this? He was so not nice about it I almost left in tears. I’m planning on calling Target corporate and explain to them the situation to get an answer. Ideas? Thoughts?

      Dear Heather,

      I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at your local store. I have had some similar experiences at different store locations myself. My best suggestion is to print out their store policy and take it with you next time. Also, call/contact corporate and let them know of your experience.

    i went to target yesterday. i only needed to purchase 2 of the razors to get the gift card. but no gift card was given on the olay wash purchase. we are in Ohio. didn’t know if targets differ by region!

      Dear Rachel,

      Yes, some stores will not include all of the sales listed on the internet. I would double check your Sunday’s sales ad. If it’s advertised in it, take your receipt and the ad to the store and get your $5 gift card.

    I did the same deal and use 3 BOGO coupons as well as 3 $1 Olay coupons and got 6 items for around $11 dollars. It worked like a charm.

    I ALSO WENT TO TARGET TO GET THE RAZORS AND BODYWASH AND I DID GET A $5 GIFT CARD FOR THE RAZORS BUT THE TARGET STORE IN OHIO SAID THAT THEY DIDN’T HAVE A PROMOTION ON THE $5 GIFT CARD FOR THE BODY WASH?? ANYONE RUN INTO THAT?

      Some stores will not include all of the sales/promotions listed on the internet. I would double check your Sunday’s sales ad. If it’s advertised in it, take your receipt and the ad to the store and get your $5 gift card.

    I called Target Corporate, what the specialist explained to me after I read her the fine print on the coupons was, “one coupon per purchase”(which the coupons say), and “one coupon per transaction” are often interpreted as the same. So essentially they’re only allowed to accept one razor coupon and one free body wash coupon per transaction, no matter how many of each product you’re buying.
    I’m going to call Proctor & Gamble Monday morning explain to them what happened and have them explain their policy or take on it.

    You can also use the Olay $15 rebate good on the purchase of any 3 Olay products.
