NEW WALGREENS REWARDS PROGRAM IN SELECT AREAS

I know that I was HIGHLY disappointed when Walgreens eliminated their monthly rewards program. I was an avid participator in it and I still have my gift card, hoping that they bring it back. (Either that, or I’m a serious pack rat and I just can’t throw it away. *smiles*) Anyways, Walgreens is introducing a new rewards program called Walgreens Rewards.

Walgreens Rewards is a free program that thanks you for shopping at Walgreens.

The rewards program looks to be pretty simple.

• SAVE. Save with exclusive offers sent only to members.
• EARN. You’ll earn 10 Rewards Points for every dollar you spend and 100 Rewards Points for each prescription.
• ENJOY. Enjoy your choice of rewards like Walgreens Rewards Certificates, gift cards and cool merchandise.

The new Walgreens Rewards program starts on May 9th and is only available in these three cities:

• Richmond, VA
• Kansas City, MO
• Portland, OR

I know that everyone won’t be able to participate just yet, but they promise to open up the new rewards program to different areas in the future.
