ADEN + ANAIS MAKES A SLEEPING BAG A BABY MUST HAVE THIS SUMMER + A GIVEAWAY
As part of my month long Baby Shower Extravaganza, I have decided to showcase products that I have discovered that will make being a mommy just a little bit easier. I presented my four problems as my youngest children having too much free range in the house, helping to prevent diaper rash, keeping the nurses informed at the hospital that I’m breastfeeding and my willingness to learn how to cloth diaper. The next problem that I want to tackle has to do with sleeping.
PROBLEM #05. KEEPING BABY WARM WITHOUT USING A BLANKET
I have always been paranoid about placing my newborn babies into their crib while they’re sleeping with a blanket. I had nightmares about them smothering, or becoming entangled in the blanket, so I would forgo the air conditioning in the summer so that they would remain warm (while I suffered). Thanks to a company called Aden + Anais this will no longer be a fear of mine. They have a line of sleeping bags that I’m sure you’ll fall in love with as much as I did.
Aden + Anais sent me the Jungle Jam Elephant Sleeping Bag and it’s perfect for the summer.
Made of muslin, the Aden + Anais sleeping bags come in two different types: the Classic Slumber Collection made of a lighter cotton muslin for the warmer months, and the Cozy Slumber Collection made of a heavier cotton muslin for the colder months. The Jungle Jam Elephant Sleeping Bag is from the Classic Slumber Collection and the material is perfect for the summer heat in Florida when I’ll have to run the air conditioning inside of the house.
Another thing that attracted me to the Aden + Anais sleeping bags are the lengths of them.As you can see they are very long and allows your baby to get a lot more usage out of it, as they will be able to grow into them. The size that you see now is the Large and it will accommodate a baby up to 34 inches long. This was a really big positive to me, as I like to purchase quality products that will allow me to get the most “bang for my buck.” I see me using this sleeping bag for at least the first year.
Aden + Anais also made sure that they paid attention to detail as well. Each sleeping bag is trimmed in a matching color complimentary to the sleeping bag. One thing that I hate about purchasing products is that the images printed on the material will look good on the website, but when you receive it it seems a little “off.” Not with Aden + Anais. The elephants actually look like elephants, the trimming is done immaculately and they made sure to also cover the zipper as well instead of leaving it exposed. Aden + Anais definitely gets the “Mommy Seal of Approval” with this product.
