GOOD NEWS: I’M A SEARS OUTLET SIGNATURE TEAM MOM

I’m excited to let my readers know that I have been chosen to be a Sears Outlet Signature Team Mom. (Some of you may have already of seen the pretty pink button on my right hand side bar.) I have been waiting to announce this on my blog for two reasons:

• Number one, because I am still allowing this to sink in. I thought that it would be a longshot to be considered for this when I put in my application. This was the first time that a brand has actually accepted applications for their brand ambassadors and Mommy PR did a great job of orchestrating the process.
• Number two, because I wanted to get a full understanding of the program. I love participating in events that will benefit my readers and visitors as well. I found out that not only will I be able to learn more about Sears Outlet from the backend (like getting a full tour of the front end of the store as well as the distribution center), but I will be able to host giveaways throughout the year for some great products/appliances from Sears.

Another reason why I am excited about working with Sears is because my dad has been a loyal shopper there for years. Everytime he has had to make a major appliance purchase he goes there. He has also been a Sears credit card holder for years. Plus, Sears supports the military and my dad is a retired vet after serving 20+ years.

Within the next two weeks I will be going to my local Sears Outlet to get a full tour. (Of course I am camera happy, so I will be posting lots of pictures and maybe even a vide. *wink*) After that, let the fun begin…
