LOOKING FOR GUEST WRITERS – YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE A BLOG TO JOIN
I will be in the hospital soon having baby girl. (I’m still excited at the thought and can’t believe that I am having a little girl.) During the first two weeks I will be taking a break from my website to focus on my family and my precious new baby. I need some help from my readers. I posted this before, but I’m doing it again.
I NEED GUEST POSTS!
I could ask other bloggers to do this for me, but I want to keep this right at home. I would love to have some of my readers write guest posts for me to publish on my blog for when I have the baby. You can write about almost anything. (Just remember that I try to keep this blog as family friendly as possible.) I would love to see posts about:
- Saving money. Y’all share SO many good tips in the comments that I would love to have a post written by you with some of your best penny pinching tips. I’ve shared my coupon binder and tips on how to survive on one income. Your turn!
- Recipes. I am always ready and willing to try new recipes. I would love to have readers send in some of their favorite recipes, along with picture(s) so that we can make some of your family favorites.
- Introducing yourself and your family. I feel as if I know some of you just by reading your comments. You talk about your family and your relationships and I would love to be able to introduce you to the crowd and finally see those beautiful faces that visit me on a regular basis. (It would also break up the monotony of seeing my big pie face or the plethora of baby photos that I put out there. We all know what Tooty and Bam look like.)
- Standing on your soapbox. Is there a subject/topic/news event out there that just makes you shake your head? Then why not voice your opinion right here on Penny Pinching Diva. I have stood on my soapbox twice about MTV’s 16 & Pregnant and how government assistance isn’t just for lazy people.
- Product reviews. Have you just bought something that made your life SO much easier? No fair keeping it to yourself. Share it with the rest of us, along with pictures, so we can see it in action and then go out and by it.
- Your savings & struggle stories. Let us know how you are saving money. Or maybe you are struggling with a particular area of frugality and you would like some advice. Share it with us and put it out there so we can all help and support each other.
The possibilities are basically endless. I already have a few guest posts lined up, and I would love to get some more just in case I can’t pre-write enough articles before I go into labor.
If you’re interested, leave a comment and let me know what you would like to write about and I’ll email you shortly.
By the way, don’t forget that we now have a community message board that you can participate in.

Shynea,
I like to write about personal development topics, new websites I learn about, and personal finance. I also do book reviews (I go to the library A LOT).
My 6-year old is turning 7 next month, then the week after that, we are relocating from VA to Atlanta, GA. That will spur a lot of stories as well.
Dear Daree,
I’m looking forward to reading your guest post. I just sent you an email with a little more details. I have a feeling that you are going to love Atlanta. I use to live 45 minutes from there.
Take care,
Shynea
I’d love to pitch in and write a guest post. I would have to say my guest post would focus on cooking/recipes – all, of course, on a budget
Congrats on the new baby!
Dear Lys,
I look forward to having you guest post. I am ALWAYS looking for new recipes to try and I can’t wait to see some of yours. I just sent you off an email with more details.
Take care,
Shynea
