HELP ME PICK OUT BIRTH ANNOUCEMENTS & PHOTO SHOOT PROPS
I have never bought birth announcements for any of my children, but I’m thinking that with Baby Girl I should. (I don’t know what it is about this little girl but she already has me wrapped around her little finger.) I’m really excited to pick out her photo announcements because that means that she will have to have a photo shoot soon. I have decided to go with the company Tiny Prints to order her birth announcements because:
- I have heard nothing but GOOD things about them, their customer service, and the quality of their products.
- They give you SO many options that you can’t help but be enthralled in their product choices.
Because I have been on the Tiny Prints website for the past hour contemplating which announcements I should purchase, I narrowed it down to four choices and have decided to ask y’all to help me choose the final announcement.

Here are the four birth announcements that I can’t decide on. Let me know what you think about my options:
- The grey Penelope card with soft pink accents caught my eye because of it’s simplicity. It’s simple, elegant, and the muted colors will highlight any pictures that I choose. It also allows me to add five photos. (And of course, the more the merrier.)
- The pink scalloped monogram card is simple as well, and allows the focus to be on the pictures. I also liked the little monogram element in the middle.
- The tri-fold lacy striped card caught my eye because it’s a folded card and it allows me to add four photos and have the birth announcement information on a separate panel. I also liked the thought of the person receiving the card being able to take it out and stand it up on a table. (Because I don’t know if you’re like me, but when I get a card in the mail I display it on my kitchen table for a little bit before I put it in a scrapbook.)
- The polka dot pink card is another folded card that caught my eye because it allows more photos to be put on it and then I have the option of having the birth announcement information printed on a separate panel.
So let me know which one you like in the comments. By the way Priscilla, Kenesha, and K.O., as soon as Baby Girl has her photo shoot I will send y’all some pictures and an announcement card to say thank you for her presents. *smiles*
Here is a sneak peak at some of the props I will be taking with me to her photo shoot.

I bought her a zebra print pettiskirt. I couldn’t help myself when I saw it. I thought it was too cute and with the right hairbow would make a really cute photo.

I also bought her a few of these larger-than-life headbands. I have a really cute outfit to go with it, but I’m going to keep that a secret until I post some of her pictures on here. Along with these, she has a purple tutu and a set of purple fairy wings to go with it. I want her to take a picture outside curled up with her fairy wings. That’s the picture I have in my “head“ as far as if it will happen, I’m guessing that’s up to her.

Ooh, I really like that tri-fold. Those clothes you picked out are really cute!
I love the first layout the best but they’re all really pretty & classic. Omg I cannot wait to see her pics! She definitely is a diva in the making! <3 I want that zebra skirt in MY size
I like the grey card the best. You get to showcase more photos and it’s very feminine and girly without being pink. I think this layout brings our focus to the photos more than the other ones…That’s just my opinion
I can’t wait to see her photoshoot. I hope she cooperates for the angel wings picture that’s in your head. My little girl absolutely refused to do any of the shots I had in my head…but she was also a very “spirited” baby, lol! And I absolutely LOVE the headband with the flower. I wish I would’ve had that! There is so much cute baby stuff out there!
These are all cute announcements. My favorite is #3- the trifold! We can’t wait to see the end product! Have fun!
Oh my goodness I just love her eyes! So beautiful. I vote for the tri fold one. Because of the way it is made, it would be easy to display.
Definitely the Penelope card. It’s really simple, but elegant and I agree that the focus is moreso on the pictures.
I love the trifold! Girls have you wrapped around their finger from the time of conception! Get used to it. My daughter is 11 and even when I say no I want to turn right around and say yes. Enjoy your sweet angel. She will be well protected with all of her brothers oooohing and aahhhing over her.
I vote for #2. Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!
Number 2 is cool.
I love number one just because I like the brown and pink combo. No matter which one you choose, it will be perfect because of her beautiful face!!
