YO GABBA GABBA GOES ON A LIVE TOUR – PLUS A GIVEAWAY {CLOSED}

Congratulations to comment number 6! Deanna U you are the winner!

I’m not sure how many families who have small children let their children watch television. I will readily admit that I do, to a certain extent. The show has to be colorful, educational, and make my children want to get up and move. Here comes Yo Gabba Gabba! (And mind you, my three year old son Tooty first got addicted to the show because they have a character named Tooty. So when they would sing to Tooty he thought they were singing to him.)

Yo Gabba Gabba! is now moving from your television screen to a stage near you!

Yo Gabba Gabba! Live is on tour and stopping at an arena near you. What’s even more exciting is that my family will be attending our local show in Jacksonville, FL at the Times Union Center in October. I can’t wait to surprise my boys with this. Tooty has been diagnosed with developmental delays, so to see him actually get up and move around when Yo Gabba Gabba! comes on makes me feel good. (I know he’s understanding and comprehending, and that is always a step in a positive direction.) And since we are Kia owners, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are the presenting sponsor of the There’s A Party In My City tour.

  1. My son loves this show. He used to watch it all the time but we no longer have cable so he would be very happy to win. I have no clue why he likes the show he just does!

  2. My daughter like Yo gabba gabba, especially the songs.

  3. I love how the songs get stuck in my head! :) My girl also loves to dance along with the show.

  4. My son absolutely loves Brobee! This show is great, it gets the kids moving and teaches them some great stuff too. Thanks!

  5. I follow you on twitter! @Mommy_gaga

  6. My son is not allowed to watch too much tv, accept for on the weekends. During the week, he goes to preschool in the morning, has lunch, then an afternoon nap. By the time he gets up, he’s ready for some outside play. Then dinner. He can occasionally watch a cartoon or two while I am cooking or cleaning, but no more than that. He also knows which channels he can watch and which shows are for him (Nick Jr and Sprout).

  7. I try to take the lessons from shows my son watches and further explain them. Just the other day, we were watching Yo Gabba Gabba (surprise?) and they were talking about finding your talent. I turned it onto my son and asked him “What’s your talent? What do you do well?” It really made him think and name a few things he likes to do and does best.

  8. My son adores this show because it’s colorful and is almost back-to-back songs. He loves to “dance” to the music. And even though Mommy thinks it’s really weird, YGG is really starting to grow on me :)

  9. And I am a longtime twitter follower (@ToriMichel).

Soooo bummed to see that the closest show to my family is 3 hours away and on a weekday :(

  10. I only let my son watch tv (well, actually videos since we do not get any channels) on the weekends. It is very limited. I will normally rent a movie or have us watch one of ours. This way I can limit what he watches and when. Though of course when he goes to his Grandma’s that is a whole other story. She has the tv on nonstop.

This would be a nice video to add to our collection.

  11. My children love Yo Gabba Gabba! They enjoy dancing & watching the shows. We no longer have cable so they can watch DVD at anytime. They can carry book along with them to read. And we can all sing to CD in car on trips or use at home to motivate them to clean up their toys while staying active….

  12. The kids love this show….we sometimes catch ourselves singing…”so yummy, so yummy, there’s a party in my tummy!” I heard that the episode with Jack Black is the one to see but I haven’t caught it yet.

  14. We are a tv watching family. Some shows are educational, some are purely entertainment. However, my kids do get plenty of outdoor exercise each day. Some shows we really like…SuperWhy, Word World, Barney. I just caught my kids watching the History Channel!

  15. My son is only 19 months, but when he sees the DJ he just jumps for joy!

  16. I love our DVR, because it helps me regulate how much TV they’ve watched. When the TV is just on, it will just stay on! But when you have to physically choose another show to put on, it’s easier to know how much you’ve watched.

  17. My niece loves Yo Gabba Gabba! She likes Foofa but us adults love DJ Lance
