LIFETIME’S MARRY ME VIEWING PARTY WAS GOOD
A few days ago I wrote about a viewing party that I was throwing for Lifetime for their upcoming mini-series Marry Me starry Lucy Lui. I was really excited about this viewing party because I was throwing it for a local woman’s shelter in my area. The party didn’t go exactly as I planned (because my plans hardly ever go like they’re suppose to) but I still enjoyed myself so much. I met a group of beautiful women (these women were gorgeous), a handful of too cute babies, and the chance to give back to a group who really deserved to eat a good meal and enjoy a good movie.
Lifetime gave us some really nice party supplies imprinted with the Marry Me logo. It was really nice.

This is a napkin with the logo on it. They also sent a really cute ring keychain and some delicious chocolates.
This is the plates with the Marry Me logo on it as well.
Here is a close up of the plates and napkins.
As part of the viewing party, I made a really delicious dinner for the ladies. Being in the kitchen is my thing. It makes me happy to know that people enjoy my food. And you can’t watch a good movie without having good food to go along with it. So I slaved away in my kitchen and came up with this menu:
This is Tangy Asian Chicken, Fancy Five Cheese Macaroni, and Southwest Corn and Black Bean Salad.
My mouth was watering just planning out the menu. If the above picture isn’t mouthwatering enough, let’s take a closer look (recipes will be coming next week for each dish):
The Tangy Asian Chicken was made in the crockpot and was very easy and simple.
The Southwest Corn and Black Bean salad was really delicious. And with minimal cooking, this was one of my favorite side dishes.
This Fancy Five Cheese Macaroni is one of my all time favorite side dishes to make for a special dinner.
I really had a wonderful time throwing this viewing party for the ladies and I look forward to doing it again in the future. Watch Marry Me on Lifetime in both parts on Lifetime December 12th and 13th at 9pm/EST.
