CROCKPOT COOKING: MY TOP 5 CROCKPOT CHOICES + UPCOMING MINI SERIES

I am in the market for buying a new crockpot. I swear by crockpot cooking. I cook at least three of our meals a week in the crockpot. It saves me time in the kitchen, which means I have more time to spend with my babies helping them with their homework or getting some much needed mommy me time.

I talk so much about cooking with a crockpot on my website, that I have decided to start planning a new mini series on Penny Pinching Diva.

I am planning a series of posts on how to successfully cook meals, snacks, and appetizers in the crockpot. I will also include a downloadable recipe book that will give you thirty of my favorite crock pot recipes accompanied by photos. The book will also contain blank shopping lists and planning lists for you as well. The downloadable book will only be $5 (something that I feel is affordable for everyone) but the series, as always, will be free. I will give a sneak peek at the download so you can make the decision on whether or not you want to buy it, but as with everything I do it will be of quality and use.

If you don’t have a crockpot yet I have linked a few below that I found on Amazon.com all for under $30. That is not bad at all. The first one linked is the exact crockpot that I use and I love it.

    yes, great idea. i’m a ft student and i put the ingredients in it in the morning and when i get home, it’s done and we can eat. looking forward to your recipes

      Dear Michelle,

      I plan on including recipes that you don’t normally find in crockpot cookbooks. I have figured out how to bake cornbread and everything in mine. lol I love it!

    The crockpot is one of the best kitchen appliances ever created! I just bought a GE about 6 months ago and I love it. If I knew how, we’d be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner out that bad boy!

      Dear KO,

      They really are the best. I cook the main course in one crockpot (my meat) and then a side dish in another (mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, etc…). This this is a serious life saver.
