THIS WEEK’S SHOPPING TRIP HIGHLIGHTS – FEB. 27TH, 2011

Since I took my first shopping trip to Target, I went back two more times this week. Once on Friday and then again on Saturday. I don’t have the exact breakdown of what I bought (Baby Girl chewed up the receipt) but I bought 36 items (including the case of size 3, 140 count diapers) for $20 and some change and received $30 in Target gift cards. So I was actually paid to shop!

I also went to Walgreens and took advantage of the free Dove deodorant and the $.75 Dove Visible Care Body Wash. I didn’t have as many coupons as I wanted for this special but any stockpile is a good stockpile for me.

I spent a little over $3 for all of the items above. I had two $1 off coupons for the body wash and then one $1.25 off coupon. I think that this was a really good deal, because before all of my coupons the total was $9.49. I also took a trip to my local Dollar General to get my free Gain dryer sheets. I bought a total of four and Dollar General actually paid me $.23 to shop! I was really excited about that.

This week’s shopping trips were actually very good. I am really happy with the outcome and I spent my Target gift cards on something special for me (something that I have been saving up for but now I can use that money for something else).
