I love it when my readers email me pictures of their shopping trips. I received the following email from a reader and a friend named Mona on her recent trip to Ralph’s.

I just wanted to send you in a picture of a very good shopping trip this I had this morning. I took a trip to Ralph’s (Kroger) and spent $38 for everything in the picture…including the meat, milk, and eggs. I’ve stopped making big trips to Ralph’s because their coupon policies are infuriating..they don’t accept printables, they only double up to 10 coupons, only one “like” coupon per transaction, blah, blah…

But today…was a good day!

  1. Mona (and Shynea if you can answer too),
First, great job on your shopping trip! You really racked up!How did you get around the “like” coupons rule? My store said the same thing to me when I tried to go and get the pasta and Yakisoba noodles. The coupon policy mounted on the customer service desk doesn’t say anything about this, is it new?
