I am SO jealous about this deal. I don’t have a Rite Aid located anywhere near me, so I will unfortunately be unable to participate in this stockpile opportunity. My sister Amanda sent me the funniest text message yesterday, and for the sake of her couponing freedom I will not repost it *smiles* but I will take her tip and let you in on a GREAT sale for Gain laundry detergent.

The 40 load Gain powder laundry detergent will be on sale for $4.88 this week.

It has been reported that most of the Gain detergents have a $3 off Rite Aid peelie on them. Because this is a store coupon, you can combine that coupon with the $1.00 off of 1 coupon from the February 13th Red Plum insert to get this washing powder for just $.88!

    I will check it out first thing tomorrow. There’s just one thing. I noticed that most of the coupons now state ‘only one item per purchase’ but they also state ‘only 4 like coupons in one purchase.’ I tried to use 4 like coupons I had for something else I had at Walmart, (they were all for the same product but different coupons and values) and the cashier said I could only use one. I decided to save them for later. I find it hard to get the type of deals now, like this Gain detergent for 88 cents. Why does everyone seem to be policing coupons so hard, now? Are we saving too much money or something? And with that being said, I’m wondering will I run into the same thing when I go to CVS to purchase this Gain detergent. I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions. By the way, I love this site and send all my girlfriends here. Thanks for all the great tips!

    I went to Rite Aid Saturday night excited and hoping to score..but my store didn’t have the peelies on the boxes. From what I’ve read elsewhere, no one in So Cal was able to find the peelies. I don’t know what’s up with that…like people in Southern California don’t want to save money!
