GOD HAS POINTED ME IN A NEW DIRECTION: TWO NEW MINISTRIES FOR ME

Recently I made a video asking the question “Where is God trying to lead me?“ In the 28 years that I have been on this Earth I have always felt like I was suppose to be doing something “more.” I love being a mother. I love being a work-at-home mom. I love(d) being a wife. I just always felt like there should be “more” to me. I made that video just six days ago and God has already answered my question. He has placed not one, but TWO great ministries into my life and I am so excited to be a part of each them that I just wanted to take a few moments to tell you about them.

The first ministry that I want to share with you is LeadHer.

I knew nothing about LeadHer or the ministry that it was. I received an email from a great Christian woman named Noelle Mena of CWA (Christian Women Affiliate) and CWA Radio announcing this up-and-coming ministry and asking us to check it out. This email was sent to me just days after I first started asking God to point me in the direction that He saw fit.

It was also around that time that I felt drawn/called to lead a women’s ministry.

So of course I went straight to LeadHer and devoured the entire website. I read all of the information that I could and then I prayed to God. I asked Him if this was the ministry that he wanted me to be apart of if he would show me a sign; give me any kind of indication that this was in fact the direction that he wanted me to go. After the first conference call with the LeadHer Local coordinator I knew that He was pointing me in the right direction. I just felt “something” inside of me tell me that this was it.

The next morning, I opened my Bible to start reading and this is the verse that popped out to me:

“Make Your ways know to me, Lord; teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.” Psalms 25:4-5.

After reading that I knew that LeadHer was brought to me for a reason. I went ahead and attended the second conference call and told Angela that I wanted to become a part of LeadHer and lead a local chapter in my area.

The purpose of LeadHer is:

To connect local women with the global vision to impact the world for Christ. LeadHer’s goal is to celebrate each woman’s uniqueness, increase her Biblical knowledge, inspire her kingdom vision, and teach her to develop deeper connections with others. LeadHer strives to help each woman recognize opportunities to lead where she has been perfectly placed and called.

The second ministry that I am proud to be apart of is Step in Faith. Step in Faith was started by my best friend Kathleen Robertson and she has asked me to come into her ministry as a partner and help her with Step in Faith. Can you imagine my feelings when she asked me this? Since 2006 this ministry has been her baby and she was asking me not to just come on and help, but to be a partner in her ministry. She trusted me enough to not feel afraid of what I may do to the ministry; but it was that exact same trust that led her to ask me to be her partner in it.

I felt beyond flattered and I knew that this was another sign from God.

He has blessed me through Kat. There have been several times that I was struggling financially, emotionally, etc…. and God blessed me by blessing Kat. Our bond is beyond just friendship and I know that even after fifty years we will still be friends.

So within the next few weeks you will see great things happening with Step in Faith.

There are going to be SO many great features coming to Step in Faith because of our partnership. I am going to bring a few elements from my old ministry Mornings With Mom to Step in Faith and build on the beautiful ministry that Kat has already started. The logo above was redesigned by me because with the relaunch we want to bring a freshness to the relaunch.
