MONEY SAVING IN MAY: AMANDA’S SHOPPING TRIP {WEEK OF MAY 1ST}

I love it when my readers participate in my series. I love it even more when y’all email me pictures of your shopping trip successes. I was SO excited when my sister posted her savings picture on Facebook that I just had to steal use it on a post on my website.

So this is my sister’s $27.05 shopping trip:

This is what she bought:

  • 3 bag of Tostitos
  • Nivea body wash
  • Gain detergent
  • 2 ink cartridges
  • 18 cans of Alpo dog food
  • 2 12 packs of Cottonelle
  • Tylenol pain relief patch
  • 3 bottles of hot sauce
  • 3 packs of Safeguard
  • 12 Fuze drinks
  • 3 Ivory liquid hand soap
  • cheese
  • 4 apple crisp bowls
  • toothpaste
  • velveeta
  • 3 packs of Ivory bar soap
  • 3 packs of Dove ice cream

      I actually had $5.00 gift cards that I earned on a previous purchase at Target. So I didn’t have to come out of pocket at all. Anytime I earn Target gift cards I use them to buy ink. I’ll hurt somebody if they mess with my coupons or printers…lol
