MONEY SAVING IN MAY: STOCKPILING FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 9TH

Hey ladies! We are back for another week of stockpiling. Some weeks are better than others, and this week we are seeing a slight slump when it comes to stockpiling. Still, I have devoured the sales papers and the coupons and I have found the best deals, in my opinion, for this week. Of course, these deals may not be good deals for you so I encourage you to try your hand at pairing up deals or post your questions in the comments so I can help you.

We will be concentrating our savings efforts again at Walgreens this week.

So I hope that you held onto those $7 in Register Rewards that we earned last week because we are going to roll them again this week to maximize our savings. If you haven’t had the chance to watch the first Savings Question & Answer video that I made, please take a few minutes to do so because some of your questions may be answered there. If not, leave your questions in any of my comments and I will answer them in this weeks video.

  1. Hi Shynea
My Walgreens ad does not show Register Rewards for a few of the items you have listed above. Quite a few of them show point values. How can I be certain that RR will be given so that I can plan accordingly? (by the way I live in VA)

    • Dear Natasha,

I’m not sure what you mean by point value. Can you tell me a little bit more about this? My Walgreens only gives out Register Rewards.

      Take care,
      Shynea

  2. In VA you can earn points to purchase items anything from household items to gift cards. You can also earn Register Rewards as well and in the add some items will have Register Rewards and some will show the point values that you can accumalate on your card. I did the cottonelle scenario and did get Register Rewards but in the ad it showed point value so I did not know what to expect when i did it. I am facing the same issue this week you are showing Register Rewards and I have point values:(

    • Dear Tasha,

I have never heard about Walgreens point system before. I will have to do some research on it because I’m not sure how to make these deals work with your state.

      Take care,
      Shynea
