I hope that everyone had a blessed week this past week. I have really been enjoying reading through the book of Psalms. I really have. Some of you have noticed that I didn’t post my S.O.A.P. posts for Saturday or Sunday. I decided to refrain from posting those two days because they were really personal and I felt that those two days would have best been shared between just God and myself. I had a really hard weekend this week and two verses really spoke to me on both Saturday and Sunday. Those two verses were:

“For anger lasts only a moment, but His favor a lifetime. Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning.” Psalms 30:5

“I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4

I was surprised how both days the readings really touched me and on both days the scriptures that made the most impact on me gave me comfort. I am finding a comfort in this Bible study that I haven’t felt for a very long time. It has really been a blessing for me to take part in this study. I have noticed a lot of changes happening in my thinking and feeling. I have noticed that I am changing the ways in which I make decisions. I really have been blessed these last seven days. I hope that each of you have been enjoying reading through the book of Psalms with me. Let’s go into week two with an open heart and an open mind.

Begin each day, before your study, with a  prayer.

Pray for guidance and clarity through your reading. Pray that you take from God’s word what He needs you to apply to your life. Pray for a clear head and an open heart.
